MEET ABBY
Abby’s Story
Abby Buchanan has served her community for 20+ years as a healer, educator, musician, empath, artist, and mother. From massage therapy to sound therapy, her work as co-founder of Resound NW: A Place To Sing, Waldorf teaching, and Human Design, her path has always been about helping people thrive. Her curiosity began early: as a child making 'healing soaks’ out of sticks and leaves in the yard, devouring (and then questioning) every personality test in sight, and later navigating her own transformation.
Becoming a multi-faced designer has been a homecoming—a merging of all her past streams of work. Today, that path has expanded to include sensory-focused interior design and web design.
Personal Note
When I’m not designing or teaching, I’m hanging out with my neurodivergent family, exploring nature, creating art, or making music with my band, Fortresses. These moments fuel the empathy and creativity I bring to every project.
Design has always been about more than aesthetics.
For me, it’s about creating spaces
—inner, home, and digital—
where people can feel at ease, aligned, and able to thrive.
I believe
Design is navigation.
Ease is essential.
Transparency builds trust.
